Mina started slow, almost as if she were dancing, and gradually picked up the pace as Yavanni followed along. She seemed to dance in circles, taking out multiple invisible enemies with only a few movements. It was a technique she had learned from her mother who had come from a tribe of Warrior Elves who taught their women to fight gracefully while the men did the dirty work.

Yavanni barked once, then twice. "I know, I sense him." Mina said to silence the dog as she began moving in circles so fast she was nothing but a blur. Seconds later she was sitting next to Arukae, taking slow deep breaths and wiping a little sweat from her brow. "I haven't gone that fast in a while." she muttered.

Mina looked at him and smiled. "That's part of what mother said my duty was. Actually, that's all she told me, other than that she was certain that our people won't last long after they left this planet. She was grief struck when Kusanrei was named among the drafted." At that point she looked down.

Mina shook her head and stood up. "Nothing, Yavanni and I should head home now. We must be able to function for school and work tomorrow....or at least I must." she said quickly as she snapped and Yavanni was at her side almost instantly and they started heading home.
