Itchigo changed into her uniform and opened the cafe shortly after the other Mew Mews arrived.

Keiichiro and Mina worked quickly, putting out orders as fast as they were coming in, while the other girls took orders and ran around making sure the customers didn't need anything. Ryu came down after a few hours and told Mina to go join Mint for some tea and he took over. When Mina came back Keiichiro left to do something else and Mina and Ryu worked without so much as looking at each other.

About an hour before the cafe closed Ryu notice that Mina was starting to have to push herself more.
"Mina, go rest." he told her.
"I'm fine, we've only got one hour left." she argued.
"Mina, you need to rest or you'll never get all your energy back. Go, now." Ryu said, stopping shat he was doing and pulling her away from the work tables.
"Ryu, I'm fine." Mina said stubbornly.
"No you're not. Now go before I carry you to your bed."
"I'm not going anywhere." Mina snapped, moving around him to get back to work.

Ryu muttered something and picked Mina up. Keiichiro walked in just as he was carrying Mina out. "Make some food til I get back." Ryu told him. Mina tried fighting him but was too low on energy to to anything worthwhile. Once Ryu got back he started making more food.
"Well?" Keiichiro asked.
"She's alseep like a good little girl." Ryu replied.
"It would have been easier if you had let her pass out." Keiichiro commented.
"No it wouldn't have. She would have gotten mad at me for letting her push herself too far. At least this way she'll end up thanking me for it later." Ryu told him.

"Yes, but this way she'll get over it quicker." Ryu replied. Keiichiro refrained from laughing, wondering if Kusanrei had caught on to what was going on between his sister and Ryu.

"Hey, green-boy, will you make sure Mina's not sneaking out or anything? She has a tendency to do that when she's supposed to be resting...." Ryu said as Arukae walked in after handing him a breakfast salad with Ranch dressing, "and yes, the plants were 100% willing."
